When I think of this awesome senior, STRENGTH is the word that comes to mind. She has overcome so much in such a short time. Alexis is a survivor, she’s a fighter, & she represents faith, hope, and joy. I love her positive outlook on life despite life's challenges that have come her way.
On top of this she is an advocate for social justice. During her consult she expressed her desire to spread awareness for the terrible things that are happening in our African-American community. It was at that moment she decided she would wear her Brianna Taylor shirt as a statement piece during her senior session.
Her image also was among those 6000+ entries that was selected to be internationally published in Senior Year Magazine’s Best of 2020 photographers.
