AHHH, Nia's Senior Portrait session was nothing short of amazing! I can honestly say, the plans that we chatted about a few months ago absolutetly came together wonderfully! A little city scape, mixed with a field full of yellow flowers (Nia's favorite color), made everything come together beautifully.
I LOVE WHEN A GOOD PLAN COMES TOGETHER!
One of my favorite parts of the process is finding locations that will help bring the session outfits and ideas to life! Wauwatosa Village was the perfect spot with it's charming nooks and colorful sidewalk flower displays. I also chose this location becuase it was only 15min from the gorgeous flower field in Mitchell Park in Brookfield I discovered a couple days prior!
THE LAST MINUTE CURVE BALLS WERE CRAZY!
Two major obstacles happened, where FIRST, we had to move the session to the following day due to a crazy storm system! SECOND, turns out, on our "new" session day there was a huge bike race which made the area extremely crowded and difficult to move around! Despite it all, we pressed through with the session - and I'm soooo glad we did!
MEET NIA!

OUTFIT #1 - Yellow Dress with bouquet of color pop!
Recognized for her leadership, Nia attended the National Student Leadership Conference at Duke University, focusing on business and entrepreneurship. She is a scholar-athlete, and she is participating in the Early College Credit Program, taking college courses during her senior year. What's more is that she is also the administrative assistant at Podcast Town - a dynamic local company that helps small businesses!
We spent time in front of the destiguished Le Reve Cafe! It was perfect for Nia's second outfit!
OUTFIT #2 - Black top with white pants
We were able to fit a bonus outfit in before we had to leave for the next location. With permission from the shop owner of ARTE Wine & Paint Lounge, we were able to grab a few shots in this cute little nook with purple chairs! Turns out, it was her mom's favorite portrait set of them all!
OUTFIT #3 - White top w/jeans
FLOWER FIELD - Mitchell Park, Brookfield
Nia's eyes lit up as we arrived at our second location! It matched her personality, bright, fun, and joyful - YELLOW! It was exaclty what Nia envisioned months ago during our conslutation. Bonus was finding a gorgeous flower covered arch! .
OUTFIT #4 - Two piece / White top & skirt with yellow flowers
