At Kim Elise Photography, we begin with the end in mind, which means, before we ever pick up the camera, we have a plan for where you want to display your portraits in your home, or the story you want to tell in your custom album.
The End / Beginning
If you have a space above your fireplace, or main area in your family room, I will create a timeless portrait to hang there. Perhaps you want to start a family gallery that can grow as your family grows, we can make that happen as well. Custom designed album allows you tell your Senior's or Family's story as we capture this moment in your children's lives. Your unique needs will direct and guide your consultation with Kim.
The Consultation
The consultation with Kim is what begins the KEP process! What is your Senior's style, what sports / activities are they involved in? What are each family member's personality? What do you like to do as a family? Understanding your family relationship helps me capture their unique personalities. We can also include pets for outside locations! We'll discuss what to expect during your session, what to wear, your desired location, where you'll leave with a full understanding of the investment and desired outcome. We also include an option for an in home consult where we help you choose a suitable location for your wall portraits.
The Session
Takes place as planned in our studio or outside with the city as your backdrop. We have lots of fun, taking candid or posed shots, where I help walk you through how to pose and stand, from beginning to end. Newborn sessions are conveniently done in your home.
Ordering appointment
Takes place 7-10 days after the session. It is at this appointment you'll see the final images from your session and place your order. Since of all that's covered at the consultation, there's no surprises or pressure; just excitement to choose which images will be going where! And as always, we're here to help you choose which images and size are appropriate for each area of your home.
